Louisiana: The University of Louisiana Monroe received a grant over $1M for workforce development program through the Delta Regional Authority. ULM will use the grant to fund its High School Business Academy.

Workforce Development: The Press-Enterprise published an Opinion article by Angelo Farooq discussing why Congress should invest in our nation’s workforce development system.

Canada: The Sarnia-Lambton Workforce Development Board recently released its “Work in Sarnia-Lambton” interactive tool kit, which has been well received by job-seekers. The tool collects information from 23 job boards and posts them all in one spot.

Indiana: Northwest Indiana Region has been designated as Indiana’s eighth 21st Century Talent Region, a statewide designation awarded to Indiana communities focused on working collaboratively to attract, develop, and connect talent.

Arizona: The Arizona Board of Regents released a Graduate Wages Report which illustrates the impact of college degrees.
